Kuldeep said: “I am honoured to take on this role at a pivotal time for women’s sport. I hope to help Women in Sport continue to influence and inspire change for women and girls in sport, tackling the barriers to activity with respected and ground-breaking insight. It is vital that we work to ensure sport is reflective of society and women and girls are provided with the opportunities not just to participate in sport, but to thrive.”
Kuldeep’s appointment follows the announcement in May of Julia Newton as the new Chair of Women in Sport.
Women in Sport’s incoming Chair Julia Newton said: “It’s wonderful that Kuldeep is joining our Board at such a pivotal moment in the charity’s history. She brings a wealth of experience from the governing bodies of two great team sports and I’m looking forward to working with her, the rest of the Board and the Executive to propel our cause forward and drive positive, lasting change for women and girls in sport and society.”
