Our Impact
Discover how our charity is making a difference to the lives of women and girls through sport
For more than 40 years, Women in Sport has fought tirelessly for equality in sport.
We’ve made real progress: our toolkits have been distributed to 25,000 schools across England and our Big Sister programme is giving thousands of girls free and discounted gym memberships. We influence government, national governing bodies and decision-makers to redesign sport so girls aren’t an afterthought.
But the challenges aren’t over. In England, 24% fewer girls than boys play team sport and 1.3 million teenage girls across the UK disengage from sports they once loved.
The health and happiness of girls hangs in the balance.
Together we can create lasting, positive change in sport – and society.
If you’d prefer to donate via cheque, please send it to: Women in Sport, House of Sport, 4th Floor, 190 Great Dover Street, London SE1 4YB.
