40 years strong: Still standing up for women and girls in sport

Why your support matters

For 40 years, Women in Sport has fought tirelessly for equality in sport.

We’ve made great progress: in 2024, our research-led resources to tackle harmful stereotypes were endorsed by the Department for Education and were shared with 25,000 primary and secondary schools across England. This is just one example of how your donations enable us to push for the changes in sport girls so desperately need.

But the challenges aren’t over—the future of girls in sport is at risk.

But we can’t do it without you. On our 40th anniversary, we’re calling on you to stand with us. Donate now and every £1 you give will be doubled at no extra cost.

As we face a rapidly changing world, the health and happiness of girls hangs in the balance. We know sport can change this. Our mission is simple: no girl should be left on the sidelines.
