Times Radio: The legacy of the Women’s World Cup 2023

22nd August 2023

Tanya Martin, Head of Insight and Innovation at Women in Sport speaks to Times Radio on the legacy the Women’s World Cup 2023 will have on women’s sport.

“I think the passion for women’s football has absolutely been ignited around the world now. We are so proud for the Lionesses and all that they stand for. They showed us their depth of talent, their resilience under pressure, their inspiring team spirit, and just their sheer love and joy of football. But I think much bigger than that, is the wider movement that they’ve created, the support for the Lionesses is really embedding women’s football and women’s sport in public consciousness.”
