ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026: Squad, fixtures and results

Published

Women’s team sport is undergoing a revolution. In 2025, the Lionesses became back-to-back Euros champions, and the Red Roses lifted the World Cup trophy in front of a record 81,885 fans at Twickenham.

Now, England’s female cricketers have the chance to add to that incredible legacy, with the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup coming to England and Wales this summer. As they take their place on the world stage, thousands of girls will see someone like them at the top of cricket and know they belong.

But despite this progress, things on the ground are slow to change. In England, 24% fewer girls than boys play team sport. That means almost one million girls are missing out on the joy, camaraderie and belonging that team sport can bring.

This summer, women’s sport is back on our screens – and we need your help to make it more than a moment.

How to get involved

This summer is about more than elite tournaments or competitions: it’s about ensuring every girl feels she belongs in sport.

By hosting an ICC Women’s T20 World Cup watch party, festival, mini cricket or rounders tournament or even a quiz for Women in Sport, you can bring your community together and help us continue our work creating a fairer system for women and girls: more teams, more female coaches, more girls-only opportunities and better PE and school sport for girls.

Together, we can make this summer more than a moment.
