Wasserman x Women in Sport

Wasserman, a global leader in sports, entertainment, and culture, has reaffirmed its commitment to gender equality in sport through its new partnership with Women in Sport.

This partnership comes after Wasserman’s acquisition with CSM Live, who previously sponsored the thought leading Women in Sport podcast for three years running. CSM Live’s support was instrumental in elevating discussions about the unique challenges faced by women and girls in sport, including issues like accessibility, investment, resilience among female athletes, and how puberty and the menopause present barriers to sport.

In 2024, the partnership evolves to celebrate Women in Sport’s 40th anniversary. Wasserman has joined us in this pivotal year  as one of the key sponsors for Women in Sport’s 40th anniversary conference.

Thanks to their support we will unite influential leaders and decision makers across sport, leisure, health, business and politics to reflect on both the achievements and challenges faced by women in sport, while inspiring action for meaningful change. The conference will be a pivotal platform for advancing the shared vision of empowering women and girls through sport, ensuring everyone can benefit from the lifelong advantages of physical activity.

In addition to the conference, Wasserman and Women in Sport will collaboratively celebrate trailblazing women in sport, both past and present. This mini-series will highlight the remarkable achievements of pioneering female athletes and leaders, who have gone unsung for too long, emphasising their contributions to our mission of ensuring no-one is excluded from the joy of sport.

Together, Wasserman and Women in Sport are dedicated to breaking barriers, celebrating progress at every level, and spearheading change for women and girls in sport.
