Partnerships Manager – Email
Hollie joins our team as our Partnerships Manager and brings with her a wealth of school sport & education experience. Over the past 8 years, she has overseen the local implementation of national programmes – including the School Games and Barclays Girls Football School Partnerships.
To fill access and opportunity gaps – such as, in response to COVID-19 – she created a range of bespoke innovative and engaging programmes, to ensure that all children and young people had continued access to high-quality sport and physical activity opportunities. Her positive approach to this was recognised when she was invited to be a Batonbearer in the run up to the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games!
A fan of all sports – and a particularly avid Liverpool FC fan – Hollie truly believes in the ‘joy of sport’ and its ability to change lives for the better. Having worked until now to create and influence more positive experiences for those who were most disadvantaged, she looks forward to continuing her journey with Women in Sport in creating new partnerships and opportunities to ultimately provide women and girls with fulfilling sporting experiences – ensuring girls and women are not only taking part in sport, but that that the experience they are having is a positive one!
Hollie’s motivation comes from her own sporting history: playing football where there wasn’t then a place for girls and having worked with girls and young women over her time leading a school sports partnership. Hollie truly believes that every woman and girl has the right to find their physical identity – an activity they enjoy doing that will enable them to live healthier, happier more fulfilled lives. Her willingness to share her energy and creativity makes her an excellent collaborator and team member – which only enhances her relationships with the people around her, from colleagues and headteachers, through to sports leaders and young people. She can’t wait to continue her journey in building successful partnerships on behalf of Women in Sport.
